2026 IQHA Breeder’s Futurity Rules

MARE NOMINATION FORMS

2026 Mare Nomination Forms coming soon!

All breedings purchased on the 2026 Stallion Auction included the 2026 Mare Nomination, no form is needed in 2025 the year of the purchase for the purchasers of those breedings. 2025 Stallion Owner’s & those using a 2025 Stallion Owner Release DO need to fill out the Stallion Owner Mare Nomination & submit the fee for the corresponding year of the sold breeding, but do not need to name a mare at this time. All Breedings from the 2025 auction or prior need to fill out the Carryover Breeding Mare Nomination & submit the fee in 2026 if there was no 2025 foal born from the previous auctions breedings, regardless if the mare is open or in foal (for a 2027 foal) to maintain its eligibility.

Breeder’s Futurity Entries (price listed includes the $25 office fee)
• August 1 of the current year – $100/class
• September 1 of the current year-$175/class
• September 2 of the current year until 5 p.m. the day before the class-$375/class
All entries are charged a $25/horse/entry office fee in addition to the class fee, regardless of payment date.
 
2026 Weanlings Only (2027 foals)– One Time Nomination Fee Option:
• August 1, 2027 – Halter Division: $150
         o Includes entry into weanling & yearling halter classes (does not include $25 office fee)
         o Each year an entry form designating the class to enter & $25 office fee must be submitted
 
2026 Auction Weanlings/Yearlings Only (2027 foals) – One Time Nomination Fee Option:
• August 1, 2028 – Performance Division: $225
         o Includes entry into 3 performance classes (1 per year) (does not include $25 office fee)
         o Each year an entry form designating the class(es) to enter & $25 office fee must be submitted
 
Breeder’s Carryover Fees: (to maintain eligibility for horses not entered or shown in the 2026 IQHA Breeder’s Futurity classes)
• Weanling, Yearling & 2 Year Old year:
         o August 1 of the current year-$50
         o August 2 of the current year-December 31 of the current year-$100
• Three Year Old year: Entry or sustaining fees must have been paid for all previous years to be eligible to
show as a Three Year Old or paid up at time of entry. Entry fee deadlines apply.
Fall Classic Show Dates: September 23-27, 2026 (showbill will be on website when available)
