As we begin our 75th year of Iowa Quarter Horse Association we invite you to attend the 2026 General membership meeting Saturday, January 10th, 2026, to be held at the Des Moines Airport Holiday Inn, 6111 Fleur Drive, Des Moines, Iowa 2pm. The meeting will cover 2025 IQHA financial updates, 2025 IQHA events and developments presented by the IQHA Board and Committee Chairs, our AQHA National Directors will also provide you with industry news and updates. Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig will be in attendance and be speaking of critical information in Agriculture.
You as a member will have the opportunity to vote on the following:

2 Director at Large positions
We also invite you to our Awards Banquet to include our Hall of Fame Inductees, Year End Award Winners, Open, Amateur and Open Sportsmanship Winners and Board Recognition, to be held that night at the same location. I encourage you to attend and share the joy of the participant’s hard work. Enclosed please find the reservation form. Reservations are due and paid for by January 3rd. Come for an unforgettable evening! Hotel reservations will also be due on 12/26/25 as well to receive the IQHA rate.

IQHA Board Members are also selling raffle tickets for 2 IQHA 75th Anniversary commemorative firearms, drawing to be held at the Fall Classic 2026, tickets are $20 each. We thank Ferguson Farms, Curt and Jeneen Ferguson for their sponsorship.

2026 HALL OF FAME INDUCTEES
The Iowa Quarter Horse Association is celebrating our 75th anniversary in 2026. Part of our annual awards banquet is our hall of fame inductions.
We are pleased to introduce our 2026 Hall of Fame inductees: Verlin Potts from Boone, IA and RL Styling Rey, owned by Gary and Tracy Thede from Reinbeck, IA.
We invite you to join us for our banquet and hall of fame celebration in Des Moines at the Airport Holiday Inn on January 10, where we will induct these two into the hall of fame. Information can be found on our website, Iowaquarterhorse.com.
